Hello to all out there...I own a toshiba satellite 5200-801 and i have installed a PCMCIA card Asus Wl-100W with Broadcom chipset for wireless...
I ve managed to bring network manager to "managed" state (from "unmanaged" default at 8.10) and set my wlan settings via terminal. So far everything ok...
The problem is this ... when i power on the laptop network manager tries to connect automatically but it doesnt get IP (DHCP WLAN) . I have to run in terminal IFDOWN and then it connects immediately....any ideas?? I could make a script for this but i am trying to fid the reason...The drivers i use are the suggested from ubuntu driver manager .
Ask me if u need any other command results...
Thx a lot for ur time...
