Ubuntu studio install

I went to synaptic manager and installed it there (all of the neccessary components too). But all I have in my menu is the Ubuntu Studio Settings. What else do I need to install it on 9.04

When you reboot, you should see the new usplash, GDM and dark and blue desktop theme and ofcourse a new kernel.

Must of missed something.. I knew Ubuntu Studio was a multimedia release of Ubuntu. But in the synaptic packet manager the way I understood... I could download the programs from ubuntu studio?
