Ok, I've this Dll Inspiron 1300 with a Broadcom 4311 802.11 card, when I installed ubuntu prompted me with the drivers for it, I activated them and no jy, I figured out that I needed to install the b43-fwcutter which allowed me to get iwlist to see available networks, unfortunatly though after I rebooted the machine I can no longer get it to see any wireless networks, I tried reinstalling no joy. I also tried installing Wifi-Radar, which also was no joy spitting out the error
