... I have been reading documentation for three days now and no solution. i downloaded the VB 2.2 for Hardy from virtualbox.org and when opened it opened in gdebi and installed. I set up my drives, memory and such ut when I'm ready to install the WinXP n it I receive the following;
Failed to start the virtual machine WinXP.
Cannot open host device '/dev/sdb' for read/write access. Check the permissions of that device ('/bin/ls -l /dev/sdb'): Most probably you need to be member of the device group. Make sure that you logout/login after changing the group settings of the current user (VERR_ACCESS_DENIED).
Unknown error creating VM (VERR_ACCESS_DENIED).
...And when I open the details I receive;
Result Code: NS_ERROR_FAILURE (0x80004005)

... Any help will be greatly appreciated.
