Hi all,
I've got a PowerBook G4, OSX "Tiger", and a HH live PPC disk. Everything works except the airport. Any suggestions?
Thanks,
Eric

The broadcom drivers for ubuntu haven't been finished yet. Either pull your hair out trying to get it to work or just use an ethernet cable and connect using eth0 configure automatically using dhcp... right guys?

ctt1wbw,
Thanks! Do you know of any other live distro that will work with PowerBook (PPC), Tiger, and an airport?

The problem is not about the distro, it's about the driver.

Yeah, that's what I said. I haven't heard too many good stories about it working. Well, I have not heard one story yet about Ubuntu on a G5 iMac, which is what I have...

There is a trick to use it with mac on linux. But since mol networking doesn't work on my setup to begin with....

The guys over here http://bcm43xx.berlios.de/ have a driver, and it works somewhat, but is a long way from being complete. Give it a shot--seems like a bit of work though.
