Ventrilo problem

I have everything working in Ventrilo except, they can't hear me talk. I even have the windows file that is needed to work. It stopped working after the upgrade and I've not a clue why its being retarded now. And yes my PTT button is working. They say all they hear is static. And I've not a clue what the upgrade could have done when it was working in 8.0.4 with ease. Any suggestions would help. And I tried disable pulseaudio and it only made it worse. Thanks.

I had a similar issue until I downloaded the driver and follow the instructions from here
