ubuntu in Blue

I love ubuntu's default theme, in the sense of attractiveness in strokes and tone transitions, but after a couple of hours the brown and the yellow has a tendency to get a little depressing.

on the other hand blue tones of kubuntu are much more uplifting.
i found those colors so attractive that i even dumped my 1st ubunut install and replaced it with kubuntu just for the tones (however ran back to gnome the same night)

i wasnt able to find it here on on other sites, but has anyone tried making a full copy of brown theme in blue palette of same level of intensity, and retaining the actual graphic aspects?

bvc has done a gtk called human in blue... but I don't have a link... but it can be found in the cairo theme pack downloadable on these forums...
as for the wall... I may gimp up a blue version tonight

You can get some ubuntu transparent wallpaper and give them a blue color here

qvc: actually i have already seen most of those.

however as i said i already like the look and feel (icons, background, deisgn etc) of the original ubuntu theme, what i am looking for is an exact replica only in blue color palette.

Human in Blue is just that...the Human gtk theme replacing brown with blue. Want a different shade of blue? That's easy enough for you to change.

icons: by this do you mean the default gnome icons? ...or the Human svg that you can change colors on?

background: I know someone made many color variations of the warty wallpaper, and explained how they did it in the gimp, so you could do it to whatever wallpaper you are talking about. I don't have a link.

unfortunatley i'm not really art software inclined for now.
perhaps i will look into GIMP and the rest eventualy, and be able to do the modifications myself in the future, but for the mean time i was just curious if someone had already made a full set.

i'll check out the ones you mentioned and keep an eye out for pack sin the future.
