Ok, I know this is commercial software and is for Mac OSX, I know it.

However, I was looking at it and it looks like a powerful photoshop contender.

So since it's for OSX, I'm guessing that it's easier to port this soft to run natively under ubuntu than photoshop?

I have already sent them an e-mail asking for a port since it's MUCH CHEAPER in cost than adobe photoshop (59 bucks) so I'd give this a try if it was ported (I'd rather pay 59 and have a native app running than over 600 and have it emulated).

It would be awesome if the community could develop a piece of software like this one.

Another thing: does anyone know when GIMP 3.0 is coming? I saw some UI improvements while googling, but don't know if they're official :S

Good morning,

Unfortunately there is no way to run MAC OS X applications on Ubuntu. Even though they are Unix-Like operating systems. at least with Wine you can run some Windows apps but not Mac.
