I've just upgraded to (K)Ubuntu 9.04 and Amarok 2. It's been going well, except for two small problems;
1) Amarok2 is stuck on manual advance (playlist will repeat the song until you implicitly tell it to advance) for playlists if Random is set to "Tracks". I've checked everywhere for a button to turn off manual advance, but I can't see one. Possibly related; the "song selector" is a bit fickle at times - for example, if I want to go to the previous song, it first resets to the start of the current song, and will only go to the previous if I tell it to jump back again (similar to an iPod) - there seems to be a period of grace (~10s?) before Amarok interprets "go back" as "go to start of current song". Other times, when it's advancing to a new song, it will jump forward a few songs before settling (it will show a few consecutive OSDs quickly, and sometimes even plays start of the skipped song).
2) I can't have 2 applications accessing the sound concurrently. So, if I'm playing music, I can't hear audio notifications, watch an online video, or anything like that. I've run into this problem before, and from what I've read, it's to do with applications locking /dev/dsp when they shouldn't. The fix from last time of replacing pulseaudio with enlightened sound daemon didn't work.
