Hello everyone;

I was wondering, I'm working on a very polished and crisp OS based on ubuntu-minimal designed for older systems, and I have chosen to use murrine for the theming engine. I'm using a transparent panel in gnome, and would like to know how to utilize transparent pixmaps in murrine so that the selected window will blend in with the taskbar, or just make it so that there is no image for windows in use (perhaps just highlight the text?). I will not be using a compositing engine.

If Murrine cannot do this, is there an alternative theming engine that can?

Thanks!

Do you want a fullscreen window to blend in with the gnome-panel?
Murrine does do transparency (the apps have to support it though).
