In https://wiki.ubuntu.com/MactelSupportTeam/CommunityHelpPages， only ubuntu8.10 and ubuntu9.04 mentioned for MACBOOK 5.1.
Can I install ubuntu8.04 [LTS] ?
Is there any docs?

the 5,1 came out way after 8.04, so there was no support for it at the time.

Why do you want to install 8.04?
