Hi,
I have version 1.05 of Quake 4 installed and wish to change to the current version 1.06. Unfortunately, the 1.05 install script doesn't have an uninstall option and the new 1.06 script appears to be a complete installer and not a update/patch.
Can I just run the new installer over the old one and it will still work? My game is installed in /home, so I could just wipe it easily and start again if need be, but I'd prefer not to do that if possible.
