Is it possible to use only external display with Ubuntu 9.04 (Gnome)?
I have Toshiba notebook with 1280x800 display and external Iiyama 1680x1050 display. I installed restricted ATI drivers and configured my displays using Display Preferences window (from System -> Preferences menu). Now I have big 2960x1050 virtual display which (left part is displayed on IIyama display, right part on Toshiba internal display).
I would like to use only external display and have my internal display off. Also, I'd like my virtual display have the same dimensions as my external display (1680x1050) - or have no virtual display at all.
Is it possible to do this with Ubuntu 9.04? It worked with 8.04 and 8.10...
