I know this is probably going to sound like I made it up, but I swear this happened. I restarted my computer after ending a session with Windows OS, and picked Ubuntu from my grub bootloader. Then the splash screen showing Ubuntu and a loading bar was displayed. After that though, instead of giving me a screen where I can login to Ubuntu, some very weird stuff occurred. The screen displayed, at least I think, a login window in the bottom right corner of my screen, but I could only see the upper corner of the window. That's not the weird part. Accompanying the odd display was, what I can only describe as a combination of a heart beat and a radar ping coming from my speakers. The sounds were fairly random but they continued to become more rapid and I could tell my laptop was overworking so I shut it down hard. I was just wondering if anyone has heard of something like this because I actually want to see it again.
