Well having just downloaded ubuntu 9.04, I was going to ask why the sound on my Dell latitude lappy was hardly audible.However,it seems that several more have a similar problem, and as I'm an absolute newcomer to Linux in any distro,I'll wait for someone with a lot more experience to come up with an answer!
