Does any of the System76 laptops support any Sprint Broadband and any HSDPA/UMTS/EDGE/GPRS cards out of the box?

None of them have slots for a 3G card. The upcoming netbook *might*, but I've not been given the specs on that yet.
AT&T's USBConnect Quicksilver works out of the box and most other USB
or PC Card 3G modems should work out of the box as well. Here's more
info on the USBConnect Quicksilver:

There is a little tutorial you have to run to get it up and running, but it's pretty straightforward.most other USB

...although, I've never personally worked with the verizon cards.
Basically just google "Ubuntu" + the model number of the card to see what works and how to configure it.
