I dont know who they all are personaly, but I think each one is ment to represent Ubuntu (the man) Kubuntu (the woman) and Edubuntu (the girl)

I'd like to know too. The models on the cover of Ubuntu Desktop CD 7.10 to 8.10 are the same. One male and 2 females (one of them is caucasian and the other looks asian)...could some name who the models are?
