Hello,
I try to install ubuntu 7.10 on my laptop.
When i put the live cd in cd-rom, and select the option for start install, i dont
see anythink but a blanck screeen for about 2Hr, and it unable to install.
I dont know what could be the problem? and how to install it?

Is the iso's md5sum correct??? maybe its corrupt

Maybe it's a typo, but if not, why are you trying to install Ubuntu 7.10? It expires in a couple days, if not already. Try installing a newer version.
