Hi all

wrote a bash script to easily set up a new Ubuntu installation.

It installs some commonly used appz and their repos.

click here download. (http://www.bananaskin.in/AutoInstaller) (cud'nt upload file on this server.... )

then


sudo sh AutoInstaller

to run

Plz see the attached screenshot for the list of appz it installs

Looks good. I'll download it for possible use, and definite study. I'm just now delving into learning Bash scripting. Thanks for sharing.

Hi all

thanks for the replies..

and CDEmu doesnt have a repo for jaunty.. can i install it from intrepid ibex's repo..

also any other appz i should add in this script...
