Hi, i would like someone to suggest me some cool dock and/or widgets for Ubuntu 8.04 Hardy. Please no posts like "Just install compiz you n00b!".

I highly recommend gnome-do. Once you start using it you can't live without it. Plus Docky has potential to replace AWN once it gains more features.

I use gnome-do docky. I love it, makes things so much faster.

I use cairo-dock right now but i hear alot about gnome-do and iv'e used it b4 and it is REALLY good. Just a preference of mine was cairo.And as suggested above gnome-look does have some cool stuff if your using gnome desktop.

Maybe try Epidermis (http://epidermis.tuxfamily.org/) and AWN ?
