Hi there;

My sound card is a usb-audio. The pulseaudio that came with the 9.04 rc (0.9.14) was silent and unusable for me, so I upgraded to 0.9.15 with the themuso PPA. I did every package install-upgrade themuso ppa offers.

I select pulseaudio in system/preferences/sound. When I play the test sound there is a constant ugly distortion and I can't hear the note, its all distorted. But with the system sounds and other software it gets better, there are cracks of distortion in the sound but it is still recognisable. Is there a fix for this?

I also installed the new pulseaudio-module-jack. How can I use this module as default playback sink and source? Do I have to change a conf file? Thank you.
