Hi, I yesterday decided to install xubuntu 7.10 on my brothers Ibook g3.
I had many problems to install it (ide-core and partitioning problems), but I finally succeeded.
Happy that I succeeded it started to configure the new os. (the theme, the clock, etc)
After some time I decided to quit and go to sleep.
But today when I turned the laptop on, the screen was acting weird : menu's and programs didn't go away. You could close them but the windows and menus would stay.
When I logged out and went to the terminal by pressing CTR-ALT F1, I could see stil some error messages like "BOGL_INIT FAILED : EXPLODE" and "SCREEN INIT FAILED".
I've been googling all day to find a solution, but could not find one.
I was hoping someone here could help me.
The specs of the ibook are:
Powerpc 750 (i think) 300mhz
Ati rage mobility
and a 12gb hdd.
