Hi.I am new in Ubuntu forum and Ubuntu.Well I want to buy dell computer to install ubuntu
but the salesman said that i don't haven t guarantee. The notebook store is in Greece.
I think that dell has not a reason to do this...

Get a dell mini 9 with ubuntu installed on it, that way you get a warranty.

Ah, the XPS. good choice, but not for ubuntu. I'd stick with xp/vista on that. Time to decide between wants and needs. Good luck.

Ι dont know if i have have Guarantee with this guys in Greece.I will check them.

i have a dell xps m1330 and it works great with ubuntu. But i'd never use delbuntu i prefer the standard generic ubuntu.

That is a nice laptop.
Doesn't dell guarantee the hardware anyhow? Why can't you dual boot it after you have tested it with windows for a while just to be sure it works ok.
Greece - sounds like a great county to visit sometime.... maybe some day:)
