how do i delete a post?

Report your post and maybe it can be jailed or other ways to handle it. :)

Can't, so just edit it and delete everything in it. Then again...this could render it..more..pointless. :-p

Only staff can delete posts.

The most appropriate thing to do is edit it.

I remove the body of the post and then use the report-post function to request that a moderator delete the post. They usually (but not always) comply. The best solution is to avoid pointless posts, but they still happen on occasion.

it happens once in a while , i sometimes read wrongly what the previous poster has written.
