question about gtkrc

I am using SlicknesS theme in ubuntu 8.04. The theme is very awesome but it doesn't work well with some softwares (e.g Eclipse). As you can see from the screenshot, the toolbar in eclipse is very ugly. The problem is the theme used an image to make the toolbar and then all the windows use that toolbar also. So i wonder, is there any way to point out a specific softwares (like eclipse.. ) not to use some components set in the gtkrc??

this is a very interesting question. i too would like to know about this because i am starting to get into GTK theming and its really hard to find reference guides about this kind of stuff.
