Good day all,
I'm running Ubuntu 8.10 for my media center. Along with this comes amarok (because I find it better suited as a music player than anything else, at least at the moment).
Unfortunately, the gnome-screensaver doesn't kick in while amarok is playing with the OSD enabled. (http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=476634)
Any ideas on how this can be bypassed? The gnome-screensaver configuration doesn't have much in the way of "configuration options", so I'm not sure how to allow the screensaver to kick in even if amarok is playing.
NOTE: Currently if VLC is playing a movie, the screensaver won't kick in, which is correct. Hopefully this won't break by fiddling with amarok+screensaver stuff.
