Hey everyone!

I was thinking of buying this notebook, and installing Ubuntu 9.04

My question is:

Will I be able to run desktop effects with the integrated Intel GMA950?

The screen is 10.1'' and supports max 1024x600 resolution. Yet I read somewhere that VGA 1024x768 would be preferable? Or would I be fine with only 1024x600.

Thank you for your time. :-)

In my opinion desktop effects are not good on the AAO if they work at all. You would be better off with jaunty UNR.

Is it because of lack of support for the Intel GMA950?
