Hello

Who sells video cards for a good price?

I have conceded that my Insprion 530's video card failed. It is/was a "128 MB NVIDIA GeForce 8300GS". Dell wants $94.00 to ship one to me.

Geek.com has a "GeForce 400 VIDEO-208PCI-128TV-DT" that they could ship to me for about $70.00. After talking with the tech. at Geek, I was left with the impression the one that Dell installed was a littel better.

Here's two that I came up w/ after some quick searching. Neither should put a strain on your Inspiron 530's PSU. Note both prices listed are reduced by the rebates, which are also provided in the links. Hope this helps. =]

Thank you

I happly in stalled the ASUS EAH3450/DI/256M Radeon HD 3450 GDDR2 PCI-E Video Card. The screen looks great.

The card came with a disk to help the new card's instalation. BUT, Ubuntu did all the work by its self. Ubuntu was even kind enough to tell me to shut down and restart the computer.

Thank you all for your help.
