My MonoLaser LexMark E210, using the drivers provided from the open printing database, pauses between printing each individual sheet of paper. This is kind of annoying, since in windows now such pausing occurs, and papers stream one right after another. In Linux, there is possibly a 1-2 second delay between pages. The gears which make noise shut off in between pages in Linux, while they stay on in Windows.

Any thoughts?

PPD - GDI driver I'm using (i don't know what PPD or GDI means, but alas) is from here: http://openprinting.org/show_printer.cgi?recnum=Lexmark-E210

Thanks in advance.

Oh, and the open printing database labeled this printer as flawless in compatibility with Linux.

Any luck with solving the pause issue? I've reinstalled my parents computer with karmic and their printer behaves similarly. Luckily they haven't noticed yet ;). There is a Red Hat driver that you can download from the Lexmark page, would that work?
