i figured i'd post this here since i have received help from these forums before and ubuntu is based on debian:

i'm doing a project for class where i have to install debian/xp on a desktop, debian on a server and win. 2k3 on 2 other servers.

i have never had trouble installing an OS until now,

i got everything loaded on my debian server, seems to be booting up just fine then when it comes time to log in....
my monitor says "analog input: cannot display this video mode"

what can i change to make it not use the analog input and use my dvi instead?

i know how to change stuff via a live cd, ive tried seeing if it was something in grub, nothing stuck out at me, could it be something in my xorg.config?
