Hi, well no photoshop any more, now i will work with GIMP a little to know it. So here is my first work. A simple wallpaper.
PS: I hate the Ubuntu word... is not how i wish it look.

No thats not to bad, two years of photo and digital media has gotten me used to Photoshop and i really just cant get my head around GIMP.
can anyone help?

If you want to learn - there is a lot of tutorials around! Just google it - all kinds of staff. And in photo editing, Gimp matches Photoshop quite on par.

No thats not to bad, two years of photo and digital media has gotten me used to Photoshop and i really just cant get my head around GIMP.
can anyone help?
stop using photoshop, you'll be forced to learn and hence.. you will learn.

nice work. :D i can not get into gimp too, i perfectly know photoshop way and gimp is so different...but i am not giving up. Give inkscape a try too, it is really an excellent program

Pretty good for a first. You might want to work on antialiasing that tux. Getting used to GIMP is very hard if you're coming from photoshop. It took me like 2 weeks of useage before i could comfortably start a poject under GIMP. In fact, after switching to GIMP i was able to get even better at design because of the fact that some of what's not automated in GIMP is automated in photoshop, so i had to learn more. There was also stuff in GIMP that photoshop didn't have automation for.

Pretty nice ! :D Nevertheless you should take more time on Tux Crop because of white lines on the edges. :popcorn:
