Hi, I can't get my navigation running in fullscreen. I have enabled the option Tools > Preferences > Interface > Show interface with mouse, but still there isn't any navigation bar appearing when I move my mouse while watching movie in fullscreen. My vlc version is 0.99a Grishenko. I'll appreciate any comments.

The 'embedded' video was disabled in the jaunty build of vlc 0.9.9a (and 0.9.8a

To get it back several ways
Add a ppa and instal 0.9.9a with it enabled
Build 0.9.9a yourself and patch before building

Add a ppa or build any 1.0 pre version (the 'problem' was resolved in 1.0

This post links 2 ppa's for jaunty, 1 with 0.9.9a. the other with 1.0 pre

The thread itself could help you build your own, if so any issues just post

try unistalling and re-installling vlc
livlc0-dev
vlc
vlc-nox

my problem was not being able to get the video in to the interface but after un-installing and re-installing all 3 files it's ok
give it a try and see how it goes.
