sound uncontrollable

Hi,

I installed Intrepid on a Thinkcentre S50. Everything work great, but I have problems with the sound!

I cannot change the volume, it is always too loud! I also used aslamixer, but nothing changed.

Can you help me? What kind of diagnosis can I perform?
