I have NVIDIA GeForce 4
I've installed the driver on Ubuntu and now when ubuntu comes up I get a black screen.
I had the same thing in Fedora 10. Only in Fedora, I was able to start it on runlevel 3 (without x) and change the drivers back to "nv" so that the GUI will load.
How do I do that with Ubuntu?
And more impotently - I've installed Ubuntu because I failed to install the Nvidia drivers on Fedora, and now I encounter the same problem with Ubuntu. Is there a solution for this problem?
