Card Reader "PC adapter" in Pangolin?

My new Pangolin is shaping up very nicely and it looks like a good replacement for my trusty Asus. And that is saying a lot because the Asus has been bullet-proof.

There is one puzzle, however. The ""7 in 1" card reader is not, at least not without a "PC adapter."

This is disappointing because my Canon 40D uses Compactflash cards, which the Pangolin reader cannot handle.

Does anybody know what the "PC Adapter" is or where to obtain it? Does anybody know how to get the card reader to handle Compactflash cards?

I assume I can do a transfer directly to the Pangolin using a USB connection. Has anyone actually done that?

The compactflash card is an old-school pcmcia card. The Pangolin card reader slot is an Express Card slot. So you would want to use something like this...

I don't think you can directly go USB to USB. You would need to transfer everything to a USB drive and then plug the USB drive into the Pangolin.

Yeah, I thought after I wrote it that it might not go over so well...
