Hi,
I have noticed that the icons on my Jaunty desktop have a habit of disappearing on their own. When I entered nautilus I see that show desktop is checked. I have to uncheck it and then check again to make the icons appear.
In addition, every time I reinitiate the system, the desktop folder and the Firefox folder automatically open and pop up.
I am not sure if there is any correlation between these two problems but they emerge around the same time: right after I opened the profile.ini inside the firefox folder.
What could possibly be causing these problems? Thanks.
