I updated my kernel in a general update 2 days ago. This resulted in a "udevadm trigger is not permitted while udev is unconfigured" I thought it might be a problem with fstab or menu.lst so I changed the uuid back to /dev/sda1. The problem persisted until about an hour ago when I discovered that there was a problem with "linux-image-2.6.28-11-generic_2.6.28-11.41" so I rolled back to "linux-image-2.6.28-11-generic_2.6.28-11.40". Now the wireless card I have been using for over a month is suddenly not being detected. I'm pretty new so please break down any explanations to 3rd-grade level for me so I don't ask a lot of stupid questions. :p Thank you.
