just in case no one's posted it yet. ignoring that he says wine is an emulator,. and instead focussing on the fact that he linked to wine's website, he pointed out you'll struggle to get some things working, apple dont support us, and best of all, he observes the need for ubuntu-restricted-extras.

it seems a good write up to me!

I don't like the way he says "If you're running Windows, just burn and run the CD"
Some people won't know they have to burn the .iso file and just copy all of the files on instead.

I'm glad thispaper picked up on it though, I like the telegraph

That is a very well written article. It doesn't focus on the negative differences between Ubuntu and Windows, which is a breath of fresh air. I doubt that article has actually made it into the main issue of The Telegraph, please correct me if I am wrong. If more of the main stream media actually reported on Linux in an unbiased manor, like that, then the adoption of Linux would be larger.

Actually I think the use of the word article in this case is wrong, I know I have used it too. It is the guys blog.
