Use DVD as RW device as floppy

I have done some research and found a way to use a CD-RW as a floppy, where I can add and remove files. But I could not find anything for DVD-RW
I tried to read this, but it did not help:

Is this possible for DVDs?
If yes, how?

PS: it would be great if nautilus has this standard build-in.
