The screen crashes and returns to login when I start a game!

You're being vague about the problem. Is it any game. Is it just linux games or games under wine?
What do you mean that supertux 2 won't work?
You need to provide more detail.

I seem to recall having this problem at one time, cant remember exactly how i fixed it but its somewhere along the lines of making sure its not full-screen..
