i play everquest when i go out and visit my brother and such but id like to be able to play my account at home on this computer. i run ubuntu 64 bit addition and run a top speed computer. my windows xp hard drive crashed. id like to eliminate the need of windows for now by using wine but every time i start a game up the whole screen goes black. i know somewhere the game is working because i can see the mouse from everquest on a black screen. i cant figure this out. i only run one screen and i dont know how to use ubuntu yet. iv bought old books on it and everything but its just not working right for me. can someone walk me step by step on how to get this working?
