View Full Version : [ubuntu] How to EDIT Media Menu in Ubuntu Netbook Remix Desktop

using Easy Peasy 1.0

does anyone maybe know how to EDIT the MEDIA Menu(on right) with the Ubuntu netbook remix desktop?

i know that you can edit the APP Menu (on left) using Preferences->Main Menu .. but i can't seem to find where i can edit the Media Menu???

The right-sidebar only changes if you

a) Insert an external device
b) Change your places bookmarks in Nautilus's left-hand-sidebar

njpatel .. just faboulous! worked.

i had tried right clicking and adding as a place .. didn't work.
you have to add the bookmark within Nautilus - as you said.

How did you even get the media menu there in the first place? That would be really helpful to have.

My screen just looks like the left panel and center on your screen.

to look like the pic posted
mainly the right, but the whole theme is nice

Check out kallenes sig, he's running Easypeasy, it may be easier to install it to get that look, than to modify the UNE DE.

I'm trying to read through the forums on how to install easy peasy with ubuntu NBE already installed, how would I do this?
also, is it a total conversion, will I lose my NBE? I may just go with a theme, because that is reversible if I don't like it
