Hi everybody. I tried to network 2 computers and that went well. I gave 2 IP Addresses to those computers and I ping them. That also worked. But my problem is when I restart the computers, I have to assign IP addresses again. When I check IP addresses using ifconfig it shows no IP address has assigned. So how could I save the IP addresses. Need Your help guys.....:-)

you can set up static /etc/network/interfaces or using network manager. Do "man interfaces" if need the format of the static ip stanza.
