Can't logon to ubuntuforums.org because the userid field is obscured.
I'm using firefox as the browser and for some reason the userid is partially hidden under the search field preventing me typing in my userid. So I have to click around a bit before discovering a page where logging on is easier.

I was wondering if the search and login fields could be included in an html table to prevent the one field covering up the other in a more reliable way.
I'm not the only one having this problem. And this is the only web site where I have this problem.

BTW Disabling the add-ons did not help)

I have this same problem when I have larger text size for firefox overriding the default forum text size

But the philosophy behind html was never to get readers adjusting font-size or browser settings for every website they visit ](*,)

ubuntuforums.org is trying to be too fancy at the expense of simplicity and standardization.

While it's not ideal, have you tried http://ubuntuforums.org/login.php ?

That should take you to a better page to login :) It may be worth having a link on the navigation bar as well actually. I'll pass it on to see what the admin's think :)

Thanks Joe, but that also has a scrunched up login field and looks identical to the screenshot I'd attached.
