There is reference to a vslauncher but I can't find it. The launcher allows for setting options etc. which would be nice. Does the Breezy synaptic version not include the vslauncher ? Appreciate some help here. Thanks!

I dont have vega strike installed but if you go into synpatic find Vegastrike and right click on it you will be able to see installed files and it should be listed in it.

Edit: ya ^ what he said lol. Must learn to type quicker lol

OK...still having problems with this game. Just for the record, I'm using the synaptic version. I don't have a vslauncher file, which is referenced in the manual. I do have vsinstall, vegastrike, vssetup, vssoundserver, and vegaserver files.

vsinstall starts the program pretty much just like vegastrike does, but there's no way to load a saved game.

vssetup doesn't find a setup.config file so doesn't run.

Does anyone else have the same trouble ?

I'm now downloading the latest stable version from the Vegastrike site to see if that will correct my install.

(the apt-get version): Check your /home/<username>/.vegastrike.4.x/vegastrike.config you can easely change your settings there.

load save game and save games you do within the game.

In game it seems you can only save OR load a saved game at a base. But the game doesn't auto start where you left off. Crazy, man.

It's because the game isn't finished, and there's some trouble with the launcher etc.
