Hi has anyone successfully installed ET on 64-bit Ubuntu.
When Installing I get the following:

ataq@ATAQ-EM64T:~$ sudo sh et-linux-2.56-2.x86.run
Verifying archive integrity... All good.
Uncompressing Enemy Territory 2.56.............................................. .................................................. .................................................. .................................................. .................................................. .................................................. ..........
This installation doesn't support glibc-2.0 on Linux / x86_64
(tried to run setup)
See http://zerowing.idsoftware.com/linux/ for troubleshooting
The setup program seems to have failed on x86_64/glibc-2.0

Does anybody know how I can install in 32-bit mode?

I am downloading ET now to install on my Ubuntu 64bit, have not tried it yet but: http://gwos.org/doku.php/guides:64bit:et_wolfenstein?s[]=enemy&s[]=territory , looks like it should do the trick I have yet to have a guide on Ubuntu Gamers Arena fail me so I am betting this should do the trick.

Hi all,

I know this is an old thread, but just in case anyone's still having trouble with this - this is what worked for me on Ubuntu 10.04 LTS 64-bit:

1) Follow the "Before Installation" part of this tutorial:
http://gwos.org/doku.php/guides:64bit:et_wolfenstein?s[]=enemy&s[]=territory

2) Run "sudo linux32 ./et-linux-2.55.x86.run"

The installer should start now.

I hope this helped some of you. Enjoy!
