In the last 3-4 versions of ubuntu I have never got network-manager to do any good.

How am I supposed to use it?

I have to network interfaces et0 and eth1. eth0 is connected to Internet but it doesn't show up in network manager.

How do I enable it? I have a memory from years ago that I did disable the handling of eth0. Where can I change tis again?

Does network manager use /etc/network/interfaces?

Regards
Fredrik

Sometimes works, sometimes not, i dont know...

Doesn't eth0 show up when you click the network icon in the upper panel?
