View Full Version : [ubuntu] No internet connection by using Ubuntu after WinXP and viceversa

April 9th, 2009, 07:57 AM
I have the following problem. I have a partition in my Acer laptop with WinXP and Ubuntu. When I start up my computer in Ubuntu, if I reboot my computer in WinXP, my computer is unable to connect to internet by ethernet. Same happens with starting up first in WinXP mode, after that if I reboot in Ubuntu mode, I can't get internet access. I have not tried wireless connection, but I suspect that it must be the same issue.

My hardware is 802.11a/b/g wireless LAN (Broadcom) and Wireless interface, PRO/Wireless 3945ABG Network Connection , Intel Corporation.

Thank you very much,
