I am devising a large document filing system on a USB memory stick, and I am wondering if I can use partitioning to any advantage.

Okay,...
It seems the Wikipedia explains that there is some advantage. And I know how to partition the USB stic, so what I need to know is how do I assign directories, access, and write and delete?
And, what kinds of problems that may be encountered?
