HP DV4 1212 install

First of all, i want to apologize if there's another post like this, but i couldn't find one.

Now, my concerns:
I'd like to buy a new laptop, and an HP DV4 1212 is at hand, of course, comes with Vista and I want to install Ubuntu but I'm not sure if the drivers are available.
If anyone has the answer for it, i really appreciate it.

Hi,

before you consider buying your new HP PC I would consider upgrading your OS to at least version 8.10 or even 9.04 (still testing) because the chances are that the new PC would be better supported by the later versions than the one you have installed at present (7.10 ? is that correct?).

As for whether or not your new PC will be supported I cannot say so I would look on the supported hardware page for that info.

Thank you, but I don't have a laptop right now, and I'm using Ubuntu 8.04 in a Desktop PC now. That's why i'm asking if someone has already have an experience with this.
